Mobile Libraries
Mobile Libraries ensure that children in primary and secondary schools have the textbooks they need to be successful in their studies.
Based on research conducted by Heather Talbot, a volunteer from the UK, we discovered that lack of textbooks seriously hinders children’s education. We decided to set up a Mobile Library that would stock 3,300 books comprising 8 different subjects for primary 6. We will stock 300 copies each of 8 different textbooks. The program will give 400-600 class 6 children access to 4-6 books each.

School of Excellence
The School of Excellence will provide orphans and children from poor homes the opportunity to have a decent education despite their poor backgrounds.
Orphans and children from poor homes have no access to quality education. Most of them end up in government schools where they do not receive the attention necessary to succeed academically. To resolve this problem, HINT plans to establish a School of Excellence in Buea aimed specifically at offering quality education to those who cannot afford it.

Child Sponsorship/Back Packs Programm
So far, we have been able to help over 100 children in our community. Usually, we award the school supplies and the scholarships during an annual program we call Back Packs. Here are pictures of Back Packs 2006 and some of the awardees.
